![]() Yet, WSL is the best long-term solution for Windows users. I do not advise trying (WSL) unless you feel comfortable with using the terminal already. The MyBinder environment is a good option too, but you won’t be able to save your work. If you are a beginner, GitBash and Cygwin should work just fine, and easier to set-up. The file with this tutorial is in unix-shell/ directory named as unix_shell.md To open a terminal simply go to “File -> New -> Terminal” or click on the “Terminal” icon under the “Other” section in the landing page.
